Over time, decision-making becomes “engraved” in their brain and helps them in all areas of life.

JUDGEMENT IS AN
ESSENTIAL TOOL
IN MARTIAL ARTS

Whether they are in a Martial Arts class or in a tournament, the difference in between a good performance and a poor one is directly related to their judgement.

The students will learn how to judge things on the fly with the use of information they have acquired and in conjunction with their training.

Through Martial Arts training they learn how to distinguish good instincts from bad ones, and to use their information to make necessary judgements.

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING WILL HELP BULLIED TEENS FEEL PROUD AND STRONG

As we all know, BULLYING is a REAL PROBLEM in High School around the US, and if your Kid is being bullied, you KNOW that something has to change.

When kids in general are studying Martial Arts, they start to Respect themselves, get the most out of their natural talents and capabilities, and last but not least they carry themselves with pride and strength.

Kids who feel good about themselves are a lot less likely to be bullied than the kids who don’t.

Often, Teens who bully their peers are doing it because of a lack of Self-Esteem and usually they don’t know what to do with anger, fear and/or aggression.

Our Martial Arts Program helps teens cope with their aggression and channel that negative energy into something positive. The Program is designed to teach them that unkindness and violence aren’t the answer to their problems.

Yes, it totally can, but it is good to remember that it may not replace therapy and other ways to remedy depression. When the kids are exercising they are releasing endorphins, the “feel good” hormones that give people that mood boost. However, somebody who has been suffering with depression should also talk to a doctor to get the right treatment.

Yes. The instructors often on our mat chats talk about the importance of giving good fuel for their bodies, getting good and enough sleep, as well as “mental hygiene”. The emphasis is on fueling their bodies with all they need to be fit, healthy and strong.

Yes. Stress is very common among teenagers and it is very important  for them to learn how to manage it. Our Martial Arts Program teaches them how to be the “Masters Of Their Emotions”, learning how to control negative emotions and how to react towards them. Yes. Teens many times accumulate a lot of resentment and stress, but they MUST have an outlet to release the pressure from those feelings. Running, jumping, working out, wrestling and being physical release those emotions in a healthy and beneficial way, and make it less likely that they will feel the necessity to take them out on you or whoever.
