DOES YOUR TEEN NEED

HELP IN ANY OF THESE ASPECTS?

Need better judgement instead of hasty and poorly considered decisions.

Bullying! Whether they are being bullied or being the bully to others. They are not getting enough exercise or are in need to lose some weight.

They seem to be down all the time with signs of low Self-Esteem. They have the habit to quit when things get challenging and are failing to meet their goals.

PERSISTENCE AND PATIENCE
ARE REQUIREMENTS TO RAISE
A TEENAGER

Luckily we have a comprehensive solution.

Even on our best times our sanity can be tested while trying to raise a teen.

Yet we all want the best for our teenagers. As Parents we all want them to acquire the tools they need to thrive and succeed now and later on in life, we also want that to happen without having to pull all our hairs off in the process. Getting them to do the right things at the right time can feel absolutely impossible, and we are not sure where to start.

The study of Martial Arts can help kids and teens overcome  their problems and learn valuable life lessons, the kind of lessons that will promote a better life at home, at the classroom and everywhere they go for the rest of their lives.

YOUR TEEN WILL GROW MATURITY WITH EVERY CLASS!

The teenagers involved in Martial Arts are constantly learning and experiencing the benefits of Self-Control and Discipline with every lesson.Core Values like Discipline, Respect and Persistence are some of the great benefits taught and emphasized in our classes. Our Students learn that the way they treat others – in and out of our Dojo – will reflect on them as people and will affect their abilities to set and accomplish their goals.

RESPECTING THEMSELVES &
RESPECTING OTHERS

Teenagers sometimes seem to be all attitude and disrespect, in fact it can look like they go out of their way to disrespect all and any authority figures.

In our Martial Arts School, Respect is a Core Value as well as Discipline. All students MUST treat their Instructors, fellow students and staff with utmost Respect at all times.

Eventually, teenagers who study Martial Arts learn that by respecting themselves, others will respect them too.

DISCIPLINE WILL TRANSLATE
TO HOME, SCHOOL &
BEYOND

Taking the easy way out seems to be the route teenagers take when things get challenging at home and at school.

Our Martial Arts Program teaches Discipline as a tool to keep them in track to achieve their goals.

As goals start to be achieved, they will start to appreciate the role Discipline plays in getting them where they want to be.

LEARNING HOW TO MAKE
SMART DECISIONS

It is very common for teens to make quick decisions based on their emotional state, without considering the possible consequences of such quickly made choices.

In our Martial Arts School, teens are taught that first instincts aren’t often their best instincts. We teach them how to ponder and make smart decisions other than quick ones.

Over time, decision-making becomes “engraved” in their brain and helps them in all areas of life.

JUDGEMENT IS AN
ESSENTIAL TOOL
IN MARTIAL ARTS

Whether they are in a Martial Arts class or in a tournament, the difference in between a good performance and a poor one is directly related to their judgement.

The students will learn how to judge things on the fly with the use of information they have acquired and in conjunction with their training.

Through Martial Arts training they learn how to distinguish good instincts from bad ones, and to use their information to make necessary judgements.

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING WILL HELP BULLIED TEENS FEEL PROUD AND STRONG

As we all know, BULLYING is a REAL PROBLEM in High School around the US, and if your Kid is being bullied, you KNOW that something has to change.

When kids in general are studying Martial Arts, they start to Respect themselves, get the most out of their natural talents and capabilities, and last but not least they carry themselves with pride and strength.

Kids who feel good about themselves are a lot less likely to be bullied than the kids who don’t.

AGGRESSIVE TEENS LEARN
SELF-CONTROL

Often, Teens who bully their peers are doing it because of a lack of Self-Esteem and usually they don’t know what to do with anger, fear and/or aggression.

Our Martial Arts Program helps teens cope with their aggression and channel that negative energy into something positive. The Program is designed to teach them that unkindness and violence aren’t the answer to their problems.

In our Martial Arts School, all our students MUST Respect their instructors, fellow students and the staff. As they learn to Respect themselves and others, they will no longer feel the urge to bully anyone around.

GETTING THE KIDS OF THE COUCH AND VIDEO GAMES AND INTO THE DOJO

It may seem like your teen would gladly spend all day on the couch playing video games, eating their favourite bag of chips and soda or even posting on social media.

This epidemic of electronics may be good at times and in many ways, but the truth is all teens need physical activities to stay fit and mentally healthy.

Martial Arts lessons provide teenagers with cool challenging workouts in a fun and safe social setting that will rival any video game. Also their nutrition will play a big role in their performance making them choose what they eat more wisely.

SHEDDING EXCESSIVE POUNDS

We live in the MOST OBESE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD (36.2% of our population is overweight), and this epidemic has attacked our children and teens who are struggling to lose weight and get in shape.

Our Martial Arts Program can help them achieve a better and healthier lifestyle. We combine intense cardiovascular exercise with muscle building and toning to help Kids drop the pounds they need and get in shape.

Our Instructors are constantly stressing the importance of good habits like having a good diet and maintaining a routine of exercises, to give the Kids the tools they need to lose weight and keep it off.

WE ALL DESERVE
TO FEEL GOOD
ABOUT OURSELVES

It is no news that Teens often feel inadequate, lonely and sad. They usually are hard on themselves and may struggle with Self-Esteem issues.

In our Martial Arts Program, they are taught that they are acquiring all the tools they need to make them resourceful and strong. With that being said they learn how to be the best they can be with their bodies and minds.

Eventually, by controlling their minds and bodies will help them build their Self-Esteem and Confidence.

STRESS MANAGEMENT =
KEY FOR SUCCESS

As Adults we may dismiss the idea of Kids experiencing stress, but the reality is that Kids deal with stress on a daily basis.

Grades, Peer Pressure and College Applications, combined with Puberty and interpersonal issues, can definitely add up to a humongous amount of stress for modern teens.

Our Martial Arts Program provides Kids with a healthy and positive outlet for the stress, helping them deal with anxiety and Self-Control.

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING
TEACHES TEENS NOT TO QUIT

The easy way out of the problem seems to be the preferred route to Teens every chance they get, even if they know they have a better alternative.

In our School, we teach the importance of learning properly and keeping Self-Control during demanding tasks, neither of which can be achieved without Persistence and Discipline.

By constantly chasing small goals it helps Teens learn the value of Persistence in and out of our Dojo.

LEARNING TO SET &
ACHIEVE GOALS

Setting goals whether it is a short or long term doesn’t seem to be a priority on the Teens lives.

When Kids in general are studying Martial Arts  they know it is a requirement to pursue goals on a regular basis. The next colored belt, the next Life Skill they learn represents a goal they have accomplished.

This way of Goal-Setting provides Teens with all the tools they may need to set achievable goals in School, at Home and in Life.
